ICVA Award
The ICVA established an award in 1999 to recognize people who have made significant personal contributions to the national examination program. Twenty-two (22) awards have been presented to date.
The 2015 ICVA award was given to Peter Scoles, MD.
The ICVA Board of Directors voted unanimously to present this prestigious award to Dr. Scoles in recognition of his tireless efforts promoting the best interests for veterinary medicine and the NBVME. He lead the NBME team responsible for the design and implementation of the NBME/NBVME Collaboration for Veterinary Assessments. An avid sailor, Dr. Scoles received a Morris yacht jacket in addition to a plaque.
