The first VEA Faculty Workshop was held November 4, 2022, with over a dozen participants attending virtually from Long Island University, Midwestern University, and the University of Missouri. This was the first in a series of workshops developed to further support schools using the Veterinary Educational Assessment (VEA) to measure student knowledge in the veterinary basic sciences.

This initial workshop focused on the background of the VEA and increasing knowledge for faculty and staff new to utilizing the VEA and working with the associated data. The workshops underwent pilot testing in the spring of 2022 and ICVA thanks the University of Tennessee, Auburn University, and Texas A&M University for their participation in the pilot program. In Spring 2023 the entry-level workshop will be offered to participating VEA institutions. Invitations to participate will be sent via email.
